Damien Thiery, Boston, MA

Damien’s career has been shaped by a deepening commitment to social and environmental impact. After beginning in strategy consulting and later serving as a financial director for a multinational company, he redirected his path to lead a circular and social economy organization, driven by the conviction that accelerating the ecological transition must be at the heart of his work. He is also an Ambassador for the European Climate Pact and firmly believes in the power of the circular economy to address resource scarcity, reduce waste, and build a more sustainable future, values that guide his work across Europe and now in the United States.

Since moving to the U.S., Damien has dedicated himself to expanding climate literacy and empowering communities. He is a Green Belt Climate Fresk facilitator and instructor, as well as a 2 Tonnes facilitator and instructor, helping participants understand the mechanisms of climate change, envision a low-carbon future, and identify the most effective levers for meaningful collective action.
